A quiet walk today

It was a somber walk today, as I was thinking of the death of Ben Manglona... death is always surprising, no matter how old people are, or how expected the death, it always seems to be a shock to the mind-- life ends. Perhaps that is why understanding the eternal nature of all living things is so comforting!

Even my friends seemed a little somber

The trees seemed a little more bare than usual...

But, as always, there was always new life among the barren limbs!

I never noticed that there was a pigeon coop on top of a roof by SN5

It is official! The north main street is torn up from one end to the other-- from Broadway all the way down to the dock.

They tried to save as many plants and trees as they could as they widened the road

People already begin to gather at the clinic, to pay their respects to Ben Manglona and his family
