Just wandering around

If you look carefully, you can see a blue starfish laying on the bottom of the ocean... about 10' down. The Tinian beaches and water are back to normal--clear with few waves.

The water is so clear here, it is astonishing! If you look closely, you can see a blue starfish sitting on the bottom-- about ten feet deep!

The dock area is calm and smooth, ready for the fishermen to head out to sea.

Here are two boats just waiting for their passengers to arrive, and then it is off to fish in the deep sea.

Just another calm day on lake Tinian...

Of course, looking out past the deteriorating sea wall, you can see the ocean... just waiting for another chance to crash through the man-made barrier!

I found this rather tall man standing guard at the back of a home on Tinian.

The work on the seating at the amphitheater continues

and are almost ready for the next, higher level of seating to be installed

I noticed a piece of artwork someone had placed on the side of this outdoor canopy

Just a few days ago the waves were crashing, and swimming was a challenge!

No matter where you go along the shoreline, the water is calm, and you can see the fish swimming along the rocks

I never tire of visiting the many shrines and points of interest on Tinian. There always seems to be some new thing I missed the last time there

Of course, roadwork continues

More holes are being dug, for water run-off, I assume

Here is a picture looking from the dock up the road towards the village
