Tinian is on fire!

Terri and I took a walk down to the Dynasty Casino to have pizza. On the way we noticed that there was a fire up on the Carolina hillside. The next day or so, while riding on our new scooters, we decided to drive up the hill to see what happened. There was a small open lot that had been burned. It looked as though someone had done this on purpose, perhaps to prepare the ground for building or something.

Many people have small fires in their yards, burning brush and stuff, but this is the first large fire we have seen on the island.
