The Lower Carolinas

My walk today again took me up to the lower Carolinas. This is the large hill that runs along the east side of the village. It is higher than the Marpo Heights area, and larger, but does not have the same access. So far most of the roads running along the lower part of the Carolinas have been empty of homes (although I did find some today). The dirt roads are in good shape, and power poles line the road, but in many cases there are no lines to go with the poles.

Today I moved to the north (as there was nothing to the south until you get to the road leading around the south end of the island) and found a few lots being lived on. The further north one goes along the hill, and the further up one goes, the more homes there are.
