When it rains, it pours

It has been a difficult time on Tinian the past couple of weeks--so many deaths, and most very unexpected--it has put everyone on edge.

I found a picture of Julian Manglona, Ben's son who died recently off-island. I was told his funeral would be held on Monday, on Saipan.


Hopefully the rain will abate for the funeral...as you can see from these pictures taken from the Saipan Tribune, it can be intimidating. Even the airport was closed for a period of time due to the flooding that occurred on Saipan.

Tinian doesn't get anything like this--perhaps it has to do with the amount of paved roads and homes on Saipan.
