Fall showers bring more flowers

The rain has been relentless of late, and I have been lucky to have been able to get my walks in! But the weather has been cooler, and the flowers continue to be beautiful.

Here are some hot peppers someone is growing alongside their driveway. These are not the local ones that grow wild--they are much smaller in size.

Here is a beautiful garden someone has created in front of their yard. I'm not sure what they are growing, but it is always nice to see people with vegetable gardens.

The flowers and plants never seem to look the same each time I see them!

This has always been one of my favorite plants

This is a new plant I found this morning. The picture doesn't do credit to how bright the colors were in the sunshine!

This is another new flower I found...

Here is a home just waiting to be moved into...if the jungle doesn't move in first!

Here is another garden just being created

The outdoor kitchen/garage continues to take shape. The roof has been poured, and the men are finishing off the outside details

Here is a wonderful outside porch area...but they seem to have lost their roof...

This is an unusual house someone is living in...at least there is a beautiful white dress hanging in front of the window...

I'm not sure which is going to win: the new Japanese grass they planted in the new Broadway planters, or the local grass

As we near the holiday season, they are beginning to build a new Christmas decoration at the base of the hill on Broadway.

Last year they had a large Christmas tree. This year they are building a manger, and will put inside of it Statues of Mary and Joseph, a manger, and of course, the baby Jesus!

They were using specialized tools to dig the holes...a half a coconut shell! What is it they say...necessity is the mother of improvisation?

Here is another home just waiting...
