Beauty and intrigue

I discovered this beautiful flower...but have no idea what it is!

Here is another unique and beautiful garden in the village

Someone has been clearing this plot of land. It has been overgrown with head-high grass since we moved here over a year ago. I don't know if this means other work will be done

This wall surrounding a large house is perhaps the most unique on the island!

Someone butchered a cow and decided to place this trophy as a greeting to guests...

This is the store and gas station that closed recently

More unique and beautiful bushes that frequent the island gardens

This home protects their flower gardens with umbrellas!

This garden is protected by a screen

The work of planting Japanese grass in the planters along Broadway is almost complete

Here is a Noni tree and fruit, that is ripe this time of year

I guess the Noni fruit is used for all kinds of medicinal purposes...and at one time was very popular. Many of the trees were planted on Tinian, perhaps with the thought of making money from the sale of the fruit. The fruit is now here, and ripe, but I'm not sure anyone actually harvests it, or uses it...

The garage/outdoor kitchen progresses up on Marpo Heights

And the new home next to the High School is almost ready for the concrete roof to be poured

There's a huge company by American Fork called Tahitian Noni and they promote it as a product with all sorts of health benefits. (Although I hear it tastes awful.)
