Casino progress

There continues to be some minor progress at the new casino site... all the doors are now on the 'dorms' that have been built for the workers!

And they have built a little patio for themselves. They have also started what looks like a vegetable garden in the back.

Saturday is usually a play day down at Taga beach. Terri and I try to go swimming at least once a week--we float in the water and watch the kids play.

They were able to finish the concrete pour on the roof of the amphitheater on Friday. On Saturday a small crew spent the day spraying the roof with water--keeping the concrete wet (the longer the concrete can stay a little damp, the harder the concrete will become).

We saw a new ship coming out of the docks at Tinian. I'm not sure what it was here for. It had a large boat on the back that it was carrying around (perhaps it was moving it, or taking it to get fixed, or something).

There was also a smaller boat that came out and then returned to the docks. Perhaps they forgot something?

Terri has had a tough week this week. She saw over 140 patients this week during regular business hours, and then had to be on call at night. There was one death on the island, and at least one patient that had to be sent to Saipan. Add to this that she has been sick this week...
