A trip to suicide cliff

Liz and I decided to go to suicide cliff today. On the way, we discovered a road that Terri and I had been trying to find--we had seen the road from the scenic overlook, but could never find how to get to the road. Today Liz an I found the access road and decided to explore.

The road travels just below the scenic overlook to a few homes, and has an access to the ocean similar to Fleming point...through a jungle trail.

After hiking our bikes out (our small 50cc scooters just don't climb hills very well!), we headed up to suicide point.

It was a very windy day and the sea was rough, with lots of sea mist blowing around. But, as usual, it was beautiful. The color of the ocean is amazing. Liz took lots of pics, still trying to help me understand an artist's point of view...

On the way back we stopped at the site of the new casino. They are doing a little ground work around the site--pushing dirt around--and working on the road, but that's about all.

Then we traveled back and forth in the village looking for things Liz wanted to take pictures of. I can understand the old buildings, but some of the things she decides to take pics of, I can't figure out! But once I see the pictures, then it becomes clear. Just have to have an artist's eye, I guess.
