A short trip to Utah

For the New Year, Terri and I had the chance to travel to Utah to see, and bless, our two new grandchildren. It was a long trip there-- Tinian to Saipan to Guam to Texas to Utah; and a long trip back: Utah to Hawaii to Marshall Islands to Guam to Saipan to Tinian. Is there an easy way to get to paradise?

We were not the only ones that had to travel long distances: Michael and Pri and their two children came from Germany; Isaac and Jackie came from Mexico; JJ and Jaime and their two children came from Sacramento; Seth and Meg and their new baby came from southern Utah; my father traveled from San Diego; only Liz was currently living in Salt Lake.

My family, some of Terri's family, and extended family gathered in my father's condo to bless the two new grandchildren. We had a local church representative on hand to do the paperwork and insure everything was done properly. It was a wonderful, spiritual experience for all.

Terri and I now have five grandsons!

Next time try Northwest Airlines going through Narita, Japan. We found fares to Portland OR for as little as 750 to 1300.
