The new road is looking more like a road now. They have installed the new road base and have used steam-rollers to smooth it out. It has a nice curve to it so that the rain no longer gathers in big puddles.
This bush is a piece of art!
I got caught in the rain during my walk... as I was coming down from the hill, I passed a woman making her way up to the top... she came prepared!
I also came prepared, carrying with me a small 'tarp' just in case of rain...
As you can see, I make a great fashion statement! People driving past applauded my good taste by honking their horns as they passed me... or perhaps they were just telling me to get out of their way...
