Here is our Mayor wishing all of you seasons greetings!
There is new construction going on at our little hotel, the Lorri Lynne. It currently has a small bar and grill; they are expanding and renovating the inside so that it can be a restaurant also.
The men were hard at work demolishing a concrete wall to open up the main room... it had a lot of rebar, so I hope it wasn't a bearing wall!
The house up on Marpo is completed, and all ready for Christmas
The new garage is done, and looks beautiful
Especially unique are the storage units that they built into the side of the garage!
The roadwork continues... they continue to dig up the existing road down to the limestone base

I enjoy reading your blog and seeing pictures of present-day Tinian. Overall it looks quite different from the Tinian I knew for 16 months as a medic with the 374th Gen Hosp. The houses being built now are quite attractive, and should be a pleasure to live in. Tinian, itself seems to be a very pleasant place.
