Construction update

I haven't been around the construction sites for a while since Liz was visiting, so I decided to see how far they have come.

The first home being built on Marpo Heights is in the process of being painted: green roof, redish-brown exterior, and blue interior. They have also started putting in the kitchen.

The next home being built had been preparing for the roof to be poured: a wood framework had been built to support the concrete until it set. The roof concrete has now been poured, and water is being kept on the concrete to ensure that the concrete doesn't dry too fast, and that it sets properly.

The third home is just at the point where the walls are going up. The foreman and crew were on site (they are also building the 2nd home) and I had them pose for a picture!

There is a fourth site where another home will be built by this same crew, which is just in the process of excavating for the foundation to be installed.

Along Broadway, the crew continues to install new median planters and bricks. And further up Broadway towards the Casino another set of pavilions is being built.

Lots of work being done! Everyone is busy cleaning up, painting, building, etc. And the new casino hasn't even started yet!
