The last of Marpo Heights

Today I finished my travels around Marpo Heights...I think. Once again you will see drastic differences in the size and types of homes. Every building that has a roof on it is being lived in--even if you think it is just a tin shed. In many instances, the small tin buildings are 'servants quarters' where the Filipino maids live. And in following that theme, for the most part, the local Chamorro and Haolis (whites) live in the nicer homes, while the foreign workers live in dormitories or the tin shacks. There are some exceptions, but there is a definite caste system here on Tinian, and in the whole CNMI.
