On the way I discovered a number of butterflies having problems-- usually I couldn't get within photo-shot of them, but today, they were resting on the road...
The other side of the view from the top of the hill is the village, the casino, and the south sea
When I arrived at the airport I found a small group of new 'ports authority' recruits going through drills... standing at attention,
and doing physical exercises. To meet the standard, they have to do #40 sit-ups... the young man here actually make the grade, and did his fourty-- though his last few were tough! Not that I can say anything...I would be lucky to do 10...

The airport has its own water tank
A beautiful garden found next to Tinian Ice
The new road is slowly forming. They scraped the old road and installed an environmental run-off barrier along the road.

Here is the old airport building, used for both arrivals and departures
Here is the new airport terminal that will be used for departures (the old building will be used for arrivals). What are they waiting for? It seems that someone 'forgot' to figure in the cost of installing a sewer system, and the installation of electricity...hmmmm....
