I took this picture of a flower the other day, I believe it was up on Carolina Heights.Janet King is interested in knowing whose flower this is, and perhaps if she can get one for her own garden...
Can anyone help her out?

Looks like hibiscus.
Kevan, perhaps you can show Janet King where this was taken and ask for permission to cut about 6 - 8 inches of the stem of the flower. Make sure to cut it at an angle. Then what she wants to do next is to cut the stem about 3-4 inches, and then plant it in a pot. The plant should grow.
I have explained to Janet about where I took the picture... I take so many, it is hard to remember. I believe it was in the garden of a home up on Carolina Heights, around where the new gravel pit (yuck) is.

My kids and I try to look for pictures on line but all we find are old pictures, then we found this site and now we look at them every week. My kids love it. I don't know much about flowers, but this looks like a crossbred Hibiscus flower, there's so many of 'em on the islands.
If you want the exact same flower, I guess you should take what the 1st anonymous said into account.
